As future leaders, we continually strive to build stronger ties with our communities and the individuals within them. It is through this understanding that we grow and develop broader worldviews that will shape and support our lives. We celebrate our history through traditions that honor the past while serving the future.
Ticktockers experience a wide array of cultural experiences from local museums, theater and dance performances to understanding the cultural diversity within our own community. Some of the cultural experiences in which our Canyon Chapter engage in include:
- Movement and Dance
- Visual Art Forms
- Art & Seasonal Festivals
- Music/Vocal Arts
- Dramatic Theater
We also recognize the time-honored tradition of the Mother Daughter Tea, when an afternoon tea was considered a proper social event. The Mother Daughter Tea was implemented by NCL and is designed to help the Ticktockers learn etiquette, graciousness, respect and the art of conversation. Today, NCL chapters around the country continue to embrace their long-standing traditions, as well as create new ones with the changing times.
