Our Chapter History

The first meeting of the Canyon Chapter was on January 9, 1998, and on October 14, 1999, we were approved as a chartered NCL Chapter.  Our members live in Coto de Caza, Dove Canyon, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Trabuco Canyon, and other communities in South Orange County.

Since our Chapter’s founding, our membership has grown to include six grade levels of Ticktockers who, side-by-side with their mothers, serve philanthropies.  In 2017-2018, our Canyon Chapter members worked more than 8,584 volunteer service hours in the community, including these local philanthropies:
